Get to know Kyle

I am 25 years old, living in Taylor, MI with my partner, Charlie, and our rescue Husky, Myla.

I love running, taking Myla on walks, and spending time outdoors—gardening, hiking, and kayaking are my favorites.

I enjoy '70s and '80s music, watching movies and volunteering in my community.

I enjoy traveling and exploring new places.

Here's to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes... the ones who see things differently...they're not fond of rules, and they have no respect for the status quo...You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can't do is ignore them because they change things...They push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the people who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.

My Story

Growing up in Taylor, Michigan, I learned early on the value of community and the power of collective action. My journey from a young resident to a public servant has been shaped by a deep commitment to the people and places that make our district unique. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of serving on the Taylor School District Board of Education, where I’ve worked as both President and Secretary, ensuring that our schools are places of opportunity and growth for every student.

My path wasn’t always clear, but my purpose became evident through my work in nonprofit development, where I saw firsthand the challenges our communities face—challenges that require thoughtful, bold leadership. With dual degrees in Public and Nonprofit Administration and Political Science from Central Michigan University, I’ve dedicated myself to addressing the issues that matter most to us: ensuring that our schools are strong, our healthcare is accessible, our environment is protected, and our infrastructure supports growth and opportunity.

Running for State Representative in Michigan’s House District 29 isn’t just about a title; it’s about continuing the work I’ve started—building a future where every person, regardless of their background or circumstances, has the chance to thrive. My campaign is grounded in the belief that solutions must be both accessible and affordable, designed with the dignity of every individual in mind.

I’m not just asking for your vote; I’m inviting you to join me in this mission. Together, we can create a district where every voice is heard, every concern is addressed, and every community is valued. Let’s build a resilient, thriving future for Michigan—one that reflects the best of who we are and what we can achieve together.
